The same person was earlier sat in one of the open bus shelters with 4 others openly drinking cans of beer and letting the whole world know in graphic sexual detail what they were going to do to some woman when they got hold of her.
Anybody who was in that vicinity visiting the town for the first time won't be back thats for sure.

...and that little vignette shows exactly why Accrington centre is declining at a far more alarming rate than other town centres. Talk all you want about the problems caused by the economic slump, out-of-town shopping centres, on-line shopping and more, but there is a specific problem over and above this in Accrington. And not one councillor has the guts to even talk about it.
Disgraceful.
