Not interested in what street view shows now, both John Kelly & I used to use Mole St, as a trick question for newcomers to the Fire Station, when we were having street quizes, we used to have a ten min session on street names during lecture time, we both knew the street had gone, but the sign was still there, Mole St was facing end on to the 4th House on Britcliffe Row.
There are a lot of names not shown on the 1909 street map, several fire calls we had from the older generations were still using names for their streets, even though they had been changed & were no longer on street guides, we had to know those as well.
Are you challenging my knowledge of the streets in Hyndburn, because if you are, your gonna lose big time.
