Hello,

I am new on here just today.

I spent many a good Christmas during my childhood at Willows Lane and Royd Street.

My Mother was born at Albion Yard, Clayton-le-Moors July 1920, whilst the family home was Argyle Street. This makes me think that Albion Yard was either a maternity unit or the home of a relative but, I can't find anything in the family history pointing towards it being a relative.

Anyone got any ideas?

For those of a certain age, my uncle, Tony Marsden ran a fish stall on Accrington Market most of his adult life. Does anyone remember him?
