Quite right Mick. 
I have just come on after finding a friendship request from him in my e-mails - I thought "All I did was write Ciao and welcome to the site"! - I will refuse the request for now-it does take a while to make friends in most cases but give him a chance. A few new people have been on and off in just a couple of days recently -seems a shame. Though 40 posts as someone said seems a bit keen on your first day.
Not a car enthusiast myself so unlikely or read those threads or have much in common...off to have a peruse now!
Oh and it took me a couple of months to work out that Garinda was Rindy but i can be a bit slow on the uptake!
