When the temperature in my lounge topped 80F midweek, I was compelled to take down the blockade against fly entry, in order to hang the exit hose of my air conditioning machine out of the window.

Some flies sneaked in. I was wakened twice in the night with some crawling on me.
Eventually I got a few hours sleep by creating a cocoon for myself with a sheet, leaving only my face exposed, and in front of that I held my tennis racket fly zapper.

Then coincidentally, today's Independant cartoon shows something similar .
