I used to pick up glasses there on Friday night,Sat night, and Sunday afternoon and night after doing it for about six weeks I thought that the walk back up to springhill was a pain. On a Sunday they would close at 3, kick out at 4 and I would have to clean all the glasses so leave at about 5 but have to be back by 6.30 as they reopened for Bingo at 7. Being what is refered to as a cheeky git I asked the stewerd if I could just stay in the afternoon for the 1 1/2 hrs, play a bit of snooker and snooze etc.... he agreed and when he left he locked me in. I mentioned this a couple of weeks later to some friends and lo and behold they turned up tapping on the windows so I opened the windows to let them in, we played snooker and darts and generally behaved, the next week they brought there girlfriends and mine and we did what teenagers do ( talked, read books, discused the ever changing world situation vizaviz the Russian conflict).
