Did you know that it's possible Marc Bolan changed his name influenced by James Bolam? Apparently they shared a flat before Bolan became Bolan. Bolam was having more success as an actor, than Bolan was having as a musician, which inspired Marc Feld - to change his name to Bolan. Well I heard this on a radio program about the life of Marc Bolan.
