for a start the compact is a little point and click hitachi, and it will only take the "standard shot" landscape, portrait.....full auto, yaydayyadayada, you know the score, i use it when im djing, and hand it out for people to take around the room, they bring it back, i put their piccies on a screen then burn em to disc for em to remember their evening.(intrestingly enough, and a bit of a
thread wander i once gave it out when asked to do a Sunday afternoon at the railway in Huncoat, as i was carrying my stuff in the locals from the bottom of whinney hill were carrying it out of the other door, needless to say they were only joking, and my equipment was returned, except for my camera didnt come back to me that day, probably my own fault, but at least they weren't members of a criminal gang that terrorised a community, murdering anyone who got in their way, and if you understand that, good, if not ignore anything bracketed) it that sort of camera
no DoF adjustment, and i do like a bit of the old DoF, to go with my wet chains
