While few of us would know the course of the River Blakewater under Blackburn, most of us have a pretty good idea of the course of the Stink through Accy and Church. For most of that course the river runs through culverts and bears little resemblance to it's original, meandering way. I really do not see what good the idea of unearthing it now would be or even if it would be possible without tearing down half the town centre.


Lets get real on this, shall we? Even if it could be done,surely there are far more important things to spend money on.
