Had a flu jab on Weds this week I'm sure it's the first jab of any kind I've ever had. I must admit I'm sceptical about it but with me having T2 Diabetes and related illnesses and my Wife expecting our first Baby (my 2nd) I thought I need to look after myself better in the future if I want to stay around.
My Mother refused me any jabs as an infant and at school because of the 3 in 1 jab you have as a baby giving my Sister brain damage (proved in court) and she had to spend the rest of her life devoted to raising her. Both died at an early age 20 and 40s and I have tried to resist any medication up to a couple of years ago.
So as someone who has reasons not to take medicine/jabs etc I think it's really up to the individual to decide for themselves what is right for them some posts on here really don't help some vulnerable people who might get benefit from the jab but are now put off. I've had no reaction yet, my Wife had it last year and always gets colds etc but was fine last Winter so I thought go on then even though I had all sorts going on in my head.
Anyway hopefully I'll still be here next year and I will post on this thread to say get in done
