I started off on the track (Woodnook Vale) then scrambled down into the Clough, walked up-stream for a bit, then scrambled back up onto the track for a bit, then took a gate on the left that leads down to Shoe Mill, that bit was a bit hairy as it was covered in slippery leaves and the path in some places was iffy to say the least. Then mooched my way up to Five Arches, came off there and then back down all the way on the track. I'd parked on the car park just down from Scaitcliffe House, and it was going dark by the time I got to the car.
