That was my fathers wish too, but he settled for me making his coffin, he then requested that when he died, I was to hire a van, put him in his coffin, transport him to the crematorium, shove him on the the rollers to the oven, and leave him, no one to be invited, & definitely no service. Don't know who organised, it but you should have seen the look on a god botherers clock when I did what father asked and left him on the rollers.
All together hire of van and paper work at the cemetery was about 50 quid.
