I have loss of grip in both hands due to ulnar nerve damage in my neck.

I got a gadget from an occupational therapist which is supposed to help in opening twist top jars - it doesn't.

I couldn't survive without scissors. I ram the scissor points into the metal lid to break the vacuum seal so that the lid twists more easily.

Some products are worse than others. Those individually wrapped dishwasher tablets are really difficult for me to grip and unwrap - I now buy those that come in their own soluble clear wrap.
