Talking of pints ... as I down a Rickard's Red ... I like Workplace Health and Safety '60s style ... worked at Dutton's in the summer of '63 ... we had a morning and an afternoon (generous) beer allowance ... come three of the clock in the afternoon half the work force were in various stages of happy inebreation
I remember going out on a couple of delivery runs as second man. The driver had a free pint at every drop, and two or three in the pub where we had lunch
