Thought we controlled large parts of the game and our team selection looked to give us a bit more in terms of experience.I thought putting liddle in was a good move,he did a job on there dangerous right winger,whilst the new lad give him cover to get forward,which he did on numerous occasions.
Same with Linney,who was giving us width,and playing well,until he was subject to a few iffy tackles.
Not really a fan of 4-4-2 away from home,but it did pin them back in the first half,But I feel better teams will punish us,as it left us light in the middle.
Then again,it's a clean sheet,which is the foundation for a result,and the centre backs were solid.
Hunts and linneys injuries upset the balance,but we showed a lot of heart.
The acci huddle at the start of the game,shows there is a desire and togetherness,which hopefully will carry us thro the next couple of difficult games.
Regarding young carver,I think he's one for the future,although you can't fault his attitude.
I would still like to see Grey being given a chance,we beat blackburn,3-0 on Thursday (sunny played for them),and he scored two and carver one,so he could be a bit of a trump card.
