Thank you all for the kind remarks and good wishes.
I was very emotional reading them and more so opening my cards alone.
My sister is coming over from Walsden to take me for a meal so I will take Margaret P's advice and have a glass of wine, it will be white though, I am not a lover of red apart from quality Port.
As Bernadette said "The firsts are the hardest" and she is right.
