Everything went downhill big time after the 8 track ... Had one in my '69 Charger ... top of the line, just like the car
My first record player was a Bush. It would play 78, 45, and 33 and a bit. I can't remember exactly what I had on 78 ... Tommy Steele for sure, and Conway Twitty. My grandad had a full set of Gilbert and Sullivan on 78, by the Oily Cart folks. In those days you needed a wheelbarrow to carry your tunes around.
