Well boys and girls, it's that time of year again ... On Sunday at 2:00 am our clocks spring forward one hour. And for you guys, it looks like March 31 ... you seem to be lagging behind us in everything these days

I was reading an article (there are lots on the subject; so, I won't post a link) that seems to suggest that for some folks this is not a good idea. Pedestrian fatalities, for example, seem to take a jump. Whether this is owing to sleepy drivers, or equally sleepy pedestrians, nobody seems to know. Insomniacs seem to have a problem adjusting; and, especially on the first day, there is one hour less to sleep away one's hangover.
This idea seems to have originated in WW l in the land of the squareheads. Like starting a couple of wars to take over the welt, this doesn't appear to me to have been one of their better ideas.
Does anyone see any point to continuing daylight savings time?
By the way, when the clocks go ahead in the land of Uk, does the whole country do it? Over here, it seems to kinda optional, with the Province of Saskatchewan and parts of BC just ignoring it.
