Last year SWMBO and I went to Barcelona, it was excellent. Stayed at the Hotel Continental on Las Ramblas. We were sat on the balcony overlooking thousands of people. Th atmosphere was amazing.

The year before we went to Paris. We saw the new year in sat under the Eiffel towere with a half bottle of brandy. Again the atmosphere was brill.

Of these I preferred Barca.
We aren't going away this year as we are expecting but I fancied Prague or Milan.
