If the lease keeps going this is a hell of a rental return. I don't think it will, because £500 seems excessive to me. If it doesn't then the buyer ends up stuck with a building like the second pub up for auction this week

Now the Hope and Anchor has been up for auction many times, no one wants it. I'm tempted, but it'll need a fortune spent on renovating it, and my folk are working full time in Warner St. for the next few months. Interesting to see what comes of Hope and Anchor, if anything. |
I think if I had the money I'd turn Hope and Anchor in to flats. It's had it's day as a pub as countless tenants have found ut over the past few years.
