Calling the old buffers...

...and I mean that in a nice way!!!

It's 60 years(!) this month since Walter Galbraith was appointed player/manager of Accrington Stanley. I'm currently working on a load of stuff to mark this milestone and introduce the younger generation to Mr. Galbraith and his teams.

This is where I need supporters of a certain vintage!

Firstly, I'm looking for a couple of supporters who were regulars at Peel Park and have vivid memories of the Galbraith era and would be willing to have a chat with me about those times. This can be in person or on the phone or any other method you can come up with. It might be you or a parent or grandparent. I'm always keen to have a natter!

Secondly, I'm on the lookout for memorabilia of the era, whether this be programmes, pictures or whatever you have. All I'd like to do is take a look and take some pictures/scans for use in the match programme and on the website. If you're feeling particularly technologically swashbuckling you could email me some pictures direct...

As always any help is hugely appreciated - I'm [email protected] if you want to get in touch

Cheers
Dan
