I think he may want for a quiet life and privacy at some point...
As to children going wanting in Great Britain (I emphasise the "Great" as it is a great place to live especially during a recession) - I don't believe there are any unless they have neglectful parents whom society fails to detect.
There will be some who have less material things than others depending on their circumstances but they should all have access to health-care, education and the basic necessities which are guaranteed under the welfare state.
Judith has her feet firmly on the ground and is extremely conscientious in her Mayoral duties. I read her daily blog and can assure you she takes her position very seriously, dedicating a great deal of her time to the community.
