Did you see the ex Ribble recovery truck? That was based on a Ribble PS2 Tiger which was new in 1949, restored by a couple of Manchester lads who used as many original parts as possible.
I prefer the Tiger Cub myself, much lighter to drive although it had a crash box.
You probably have seen my photos of one on here with me behind the wheel.

I was down on the east lancs railway today and picked up the leaflet .. oh and the autumn steam gala and vintage bus running day on the east lancs on 19 & 20 October ...
