When these two 'silly fitting' bulbs die I might get the ceiling fitting changed to a normal one, as one member here did with his. There may be adaptors available but ceilings are a bit low and my 6'2" son would need to duck
The two you mention above don't sound like LED at all so no point in buying them - I'll just use the ones the previous tenant left behind until they 'expire/die'.
