The last one was taken through my hotel bedroom window which I kept closed so the aircon would keep running.
It was taken with my little Panasonic Lumix and the odd thing about it is the dark sky.. Apart from a bit of cropping I never manipulate my photos, they are straight from the SD card but when I took the photo of the moon the sky was fairly light at 10PM and the moon didn't stand out as much. The camera has a 20 optical +20 digital zoom and was set on auto. Very odd.
The Nikon didn't produce the same results and I tried all sorts of different setting.

That's much better than any of my attempts at catching the moon, I've tried and tried - just get a blurry blob. My camera is a humble Nikon Coolpix 4100 -it's about 10 years old.
Need an upgrade!
