When it comes time to offer low, low, prices in exchange for what is bought this time, all these little pieces of gold are now conveniently in little packages no doubt with serial numbers and other markings so that they can be easily recognised.
What's the betting though, that when they do offer to buy them back, they will still knock a bit off the value for having to check it's authenticity.
