I have had many a happy time listening to old girls gossiping on the bus...it is just so galling to have to get off before you know what the ending was.
I'm not a great fan of the mobile phone. I have one - it is in my handbag, switched off.
I think that a mobile phone is for
my convenience...not someone elses.
I only turn it on to phone for a taxi...or to let himself know that we are on our way back from where-ever I have been all day...and these days that is usually hospital.
Most of my calls will last no more than a minute.
