Well Done Shaz......I'm really made up for you.
When you contact the Matron, ask if you can go and visit the ward you will be working on...just to get a 'feel' of things......ask questions of he staff there(I know when I interviewed people, if they asked for a pre-employment visit to get the 'lie of the land' it always made me feel like they were interested...and not just in the pay packet..but the work too) If you only spend half an hour familiarising yourself with the layout of the ward, it will be time well spent.
