Since Shillelagh took us for a walk last Sunday I have got more adventurous and strayed further afield, I think she should be helping me pay for the clog irons I am wearing out.
Yesterday it was Cock Bridge and Clayton Hall.
Today I did about two miles around the canal bank at Barrowford.
No.1 Starting from the lower car park.
No.2 Looking along the canal.
No.3 More locks.
No.4 The reservoir looked a bit low.
N0.5 Lock keepers cottage.
No.6 Boats moored at the highest point on the Leeds-Liverpool canal, the locks are all downhill from there on.
No.7 A very welcome sight, a brew and chocolate cake later and I was ready for off again.
No.8 Sorry ducky, nowt for you.
No.9 Green reflection in the water.
No.10 A leaky lock.
