Maybe a lot of the players can't sort out their own wages Cashman.
To hear some of the muttering they speak in TV interviews its no wonder they need agents to rip them off.
The agents are only there to line their own pockets and its the paying public who foot the bill.
I once heard an ex Stanley player say on a radio interview "if I didn't get in the first team I couldn't pay my Council house rent".
How things have changed. I saw in the papers recently one player had changed hands for million euros. The agent will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Sky dictates who plays when now. Take their money out of the equation and the game would collapse.
That's my view for what it's worth.
