It is reported that Prince Andrew was bailed up by police in the palace grounds and that he was not amused and that the Prince was of the opinion that they should have recognised him, after all he was only having a walk in the graden and was dressed in a suit and tie ( what about socks and shoes).

Perhaps if he had worn a coronet and full regalia they would have recognised him and the incident would not have taken place. Still you could alkways buy fake regalia.

What would have happened if they had just let it go and the person had not been who he was and an incident happened whereby some innocent person had been attacked.

Prince Andrew should be grateful that some people take their jobs seriously.
