But I'd be very surprised if any of you don't know what it means. In la belle province, there is a move on to eliminate certain expressions of difference:

Now, I'm aware that most of you are as fascinated by Quebec politics, and the position of Quebec in Canadian Confederation, as I am by benches in front of Accy Town Hall. But this does raise some interesting questions, especially when you consider that, unlike you guys, we are a nation of immigrants, and that we have tended to view ourselves as a "cultural mosaic" rather than a "melting pot". Canadians are not thick. Most of us are aware that, despite its mentioning of crosses and Stars of David, this is directed against ... well, you can figure that out for yourselves. Is this the way to go. And remember that Quebec wishes to preserve its heritage, cultural, linguistic, and historical ... as, no doubt, do many in the land of uk. This ain't a poll, by the way. Just something to mull over.
