Trust the male gender to stick together. He has been quite ill though, and had me worried for a while, but the fact that I am tempting him to eat again by tray-feeding him with smoked salmon, prawns and other delicacies instead of the old sausage and mash might have something to do with how long it takes him to get over it....hmm!!! The fact that he has started to get a bit 'picky' with me might hold the clue.
