A nice idea for them, not a very good idea for the drinks industry though is it?
Can you imagine how many pubs would end up closing if we all joined in? How many redundancies would be forced onto breweries when lack of sales force them to reduce their staff?
I've no problem with charities trying to get extra cash, should it be at the expense of another industry though?
After all, charities are just another form of industry these days.

Totally agree with you about charities Less, when I got involved with the National Asthma Campaign (now Asthma U.K.)I was appalled when I got the balance sheet through the post and the rules and regs involved. There was on 19% of the money raised which actually went to where most people thought it was going, the rest was used on salaries and transport, and I was informed that if we raised any money it had to be sent to head office, a statement which got the two fingered salute from me, money raised here was spent here, for the benefit of local people, and that was every penny.
