Fergie Adopts Rooney
 Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has announced that he has officially adopted wunderkid Wayne Rooney claiming: “It’s what we do with all our 18 year-old, £30m signings.”
“After all it’s me that will be ironing his little shorts every morning; if he hurts his leg it’ll be me that kisses it better; and it will be me that protects him from all the bad influences on his football development such as Phil Neville and Eric Djemba-Djemba.”
