There was a nice late afternoon light and I finally managed to read the date stone which says "Ponte Comunale 1861" (Municipal Bridge 1861) - hadn't realised it was that old. I didn't need to get into the water to take the pics just beat back rather a lot of undergrowth down the other side to the path!
