Today in Pictures, another rainy day, but I was determined to find a footpath that I was told was there.

1. You wouldn't want to sit on that.
2. That's Whalley Viaduct in the distance.
3. Its a long time since that was occupied.
4. Whalley Nab in the distance.
5. I used to know the name of this folly, but for the moment it escapes me.
6. You can see this line of trees from Hyndburn, it looks like a forest but close up all the trees have been felled.
7. The point of the walk today, the mast on Pendleton Moor.
8. Its a harsh environment up here.
9. I didn't see the bird until now.
