Its too much hard work for HBC staff to take em down plus it means wages n theres no way u gonna see the chairman / head of HBC doing it cos its too beneath them

Can anyone suggest a reason then why the Christmas Tree and the Christmas Lights are still up in Accrington town centre? Can it possibly be that the council are so strapped for cash that they cannot afford to take them down?
