I know that some seemingly harmless(to us) food is harmful to dogs. Onions, grapes,(fruit cake),chocolate etc even the pollen on lillies. He's not constantly gobbling scraps and my kids also know about the dangerous foods. He usually ends up with the last bit from the plate at tea time etc or the odd biscuit or bit of cake. I don't think he's going to come to any harm from this. We always had dogs when we were growing up and in those days I don't think anyone was aware of such dangers anyway. I don't think any of the dogs had any problems and they all popped off with old age. I think the problem might be the dog meat so I'm going to try another brand.
