We had the opportunity to win it in the first half and didn’t take the chances – so an era comes to an end, 17 consecutive years in the Champion’s League, even the NN will find it difficult to match that no matter how much money they throw at it, never mind the scousers – how durable is their current bubble, can they ever win the league again or can they at least maintain a top four position?
I am just hoping we don’t finish in 5th or 6th place – anything but that, but at the least they should try and finish the season on a high even if that does mean the purgatory of the Europa League, just hope that isn’t so
Waiting with interest to see what develops now – New manager? New players? Departing players, only time will tell as it will for the rebirth of the scousers.
