Has anyone seen the story in today's press?
Police incur costs in excess of £10,000 to apprehend a criminal. Was this a dangerous criminal? A murderer? A violent robber?
Incredibly, it was a woman holding an apple whilst driving her car. She was ultimately fined £60.
The moral of the story:
If you are a police officer it's fine and acceptable to hold onto your sausage but members of the public must on no account be seen to handle and apple whilst driving.
