You'd be looking out for buses, and as they are bigger you notice them coming. Cars being smaller and unexpected (you wouldn't be looking out for them on a road where they are not permitted) and would be quite likely to be hit by one as you wouldn't expect it to be there. As this one shouldn't have been. Someone was knocked down by a car on that road not long ago.
