Today in Pictures, a short safari behind the pals centre.

1. The area to the rear is flora and fauna rich.
2. Brambles turning pink with age from white.
3. The Nettles are covered in the caterpillar of the Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly.
4. Himalayan Balsam starting to dominate with its coverage and height.
5. Clover covering areas close to the ground.
6. Six Spot Burnet Moth on thistles, the area is alive with them.
7. Almost a clover meadow.
8. What I think is a hoverfly on Bramble flower.
9. I think this has just emerged, the Ruby Tiger Moth.
10. Himalayan Balsam again, this time looking to take over Platts Lodge.
