As far as the packaging goes the make is Homebase and the brand name is Homebase! It was part of a set of things which when used together create a waterproof seal around the bath (ie between bath and wall). There are right angled strips, corner pieces to join them together, end bungs to bung on the ends and the black gunge in a strip (like thick double sided squishy rolls of black blue tack) to stick the whole think together and to wall and bath.

Don't worry, Busman is currently using his initiative and it's a lot more readily available than Homebase's discontinued lines.
