As it was Armed Forces day today I went to pay my respects at our war memorial. Watching the veterans proudly march down the road was a wonderful sight. Looking at the array of medals on their chests, I can only imagine what they have been through in their lives but, I think, having a special day for them is the least we could do. Most of them were knocking eighty but still set a fine, dignified example to our younger folk. Just wanted to say well done and thankyou.
