Following on from a conversation wi the boss last weekend, it came to pass,that when she was first wed,she lived in a cottage on Mill Hill Ossy, her mam told her that when she was young,she lived in a pub on yon?
have been past scores of times oer last 50 yrs n never seen sight or trace of any such building. Just had a conversation wi Gayle n she tells me,there was in fact such a pub way back in time,it name was The Falcon, which seems correct as its Falcon House were it was. what i'm interested in,is when did the pub actually cease trading? its obviously long before i was supping,?? so i'm reckoning at least 70/80 yrs ago. also anyone got any info on this pub?.
