In reality, she is unlikely to get upset about someone poisoning her Accrington swans: She declared "no interest" in a monster sturgeon caught a few years ago.

Swans get killed and maimed all over the country - write to the RSPCA and ask for statistics you may be shocked? One in a park near me had it's wing ripped off by a dog - though I hear the swan is still alive in a sanctuary. Dog attacks are regular all over the place.
