We went for a walk today to Watergrove reservoir, a place we haven't visited for at least nine years. Pictures 1 to 6 are of the wall around the reservoir. The stones wer taken from the buildings that had been flooded to make the reservoir. Pics 7 and 8 are general views. Pic 9 is a memorial to a young lad who lost his life swimming in the reservoir. No 10 is a close up of the poem that his mother penned to remind others of the dangers of swimming in reservoirs

Very touching. For the young boy, obviously (what an eloquent poem his mother wrote!) and also the old buildings that had been flooded over.
