Alan, was old Beswick the chemist there when you lived in Blackburn Rd?. He was always coming into the workshop for a natter and a brew. Did you know the late Volny Crosston?. He worked for Jack when my hubby was there, and later, after he was married, started his own firm, Crosston School of Motoring up Ossy. In fact he taught my hubby to drive.
