Ed Miliband must be panicking, even if he wins the next election once he loses the Scottish MPs he's lost his majority- he's out-maybe forever.
Alistair Darling will be OK of course, he's a Scottish MP, he'll still have a job and when it all goes wrong and the SNP lose power he could end up as the Scottish PM! Now there's a silver lining!
